VIC VICE is a cutting-edge virtual reality platform that offers Victorian students the chance to experience various workplaces in a fully-immersive, interactive and multi-sensory way.

Event Description

VIC VICE uses 360-degree interactive film experiences that feature real life employees discussing and demonstrating their jobs and the skills they use in their daily work; through this immersive medium we aim to introduce young people to new career pathways and possibilities.Each VR experience lasts between 7 and 10 minutes, showcasing up to two career/job roles and includes three interactive touch points along the way. Each experience enables students to understand the types of jobs available and gain insight into a typical working day. Currently VIC VICE has 14 different career experiences showcasing roles in Agriculture, Transport & Logistics, Health & Community Services, Manufacturing as well as Building and Construction with more content in the pipeline. VIC VICE is available to all Victorian secondary schools free of charge via their Local Learning and Employment Network (LLEN). VR headsets pre loaded with the VIC VICE app and content can be made available to your school by contacting you local LLEN or registering an expression of interest via our website https://www.vicvice.com.au/

For example, if your event takes place at a school but you're open to having a Role Model join remotely (e.g. via Zoom or Teams), you can select both Virtual and In-Person.
