How it Works

Real conversations.
Real opportunities.

LinkUp Careers makes it easier for educators and speakers to connect and create impactful events for young people exploring future pathways.

Step 1

Register as an Educator or Role Model
Sign up for free and tell us who you are. Whether you're an educator looking to bring real-world relevance into your classroom, or a role model ready to share your story, registration is quick — and meaningful connections start here.

Role Models will need a Working With Children's Check to register.

Step 2

Educators Create an Event
Post an event that invites role models into your school or program. Outline what your young people need, what kind of voice you’re looking for, as well as what you'd like your students to reflect on.

The stronger your invitation, the more engaged your audience — and the better the match.

Step 3

Speakers Explore and Apply
Speakers browse upcoming events and express interest in the ones that align with their journey, experience, and passion for helping young people find their future career pathway.

Step 4

Review and Connect
Educators will receive speaker applications directly. Check their career subject alignment relevance to your school program and the reason they want to get involved.

Then choose the voice that feels right for your students.

Step 5

Shape The Experience
With a speaker selected, the focus shifts to shaping an experience that resonates. Educators set the direction—defining what their audience needs to hear, learn, or feel.

Speakers bring their voice and story, aligning to the purpose.

Step 6

Event Starts - Inspire the Next Generation
Run your event to make an impact. Each connection gives young people the chance to meet real professionals and understand real work — while imagining themselves in roles they may never have considered. The 'see what you can be' component of learning.
